The hidden places and pure streams of Northern Europe are filled with unparalleled powers that nurture the skin in unique ways. The nature of the north, adapting to the harsh changes of the seasons, grows unique plants, and the raw materials picked in the northern land have amazing effects on the skin. During the short period when the plants are suitable for growth, they store a lot of nutrients, which supports the skin exposed to various weather conditions and stresses.

Natural ingredients that promote healthy skin have been studied and used for centuries. Drawing on long-standing Nordic tradition and scientific research, we have developed products based on the harmonious and synergistic properties of natural ingredients.

All our products are manufactured in Finland, certified plastic-free skin care products and are not tested on animals. All ingredients, including preservatives, are listed in the full ingredients list. We use milder preservatives than those used in the food industry and commonly used in natural cosmetics. Preservatives in Hohode products are natural or derived from nature. For example, potassium sorbate (E202) and sodium benzoate (E211) are very gentle and mild preservatives found in nature (for example in rowan berries and lingonberries).

CosmEthics certification guarantees that the product does not contain harmful ingredients banned in the EU. All natural cosmetic products are required by law to contain ingredients that guarantee the shelf life of the product. We choose ingredients that are as gentle and natural as possible.
